The Friends of the North Clairemont Library (FONCL) are a group of volunteers devoted to the North Clairemont branch of the San Diego Public Library system.

FONCL is one chapter among the many  that make up the all-volunteer Friends of San Diego Public Library (FSDPL).  FSDPL, including all of its chapters, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  The Corporate Friends and all the individual chapters raise funds to enhance their individual branches, and also support and advocate for the SDPL as a whole.
